Burroughs. Solarised.

 

William Burroughs was in Britain for "The Final Academy " tour with John Giorno, Victor Bockris and assorted guests. I helped organise the Liverpool date, which was a modest affair. Burroughs signed my paperback copy of Ah Pook Is Here. We sat in his hotel room and watched a television programme about reptiles.
